ScopeDSP™ displays Time and Frequency Data in the following plot formats:
- Inphase
- Quadrature
- Complex: Inphase and Quadrature
- Magnitude
- Phase
- Polar: Inphase versus Quadrature
- Histogram
ScopeDSP provides following plot styles:
- Line
- Dot
- Connected Dots
- Bar
- Stem
- Vertical Line
- Bar
Typical plot choices are Complex/Line for Time Data and Magnitude/Bar for Frequency Data. However, these formats and styles can be applied in any combination to both Time and Frequency Data.
Pixelization Control
ScopeDSP allows the user more control over “pixelization” than most mainstream applications. Pixelization is defined as the process of somehow combining multiple data points into a single pixel to plot when there are more data points in a set than pixels across the screen.
Mouse Operations
The plots also support mouse operations. Multi-level zooming allows close examination of a portion of the data set (which can be used to avoid the pixelization problem.) Simply click and hold with the left mouse button, then drag left or right to define a zoomed data range. The demo version allows only two zoom levels but the registered version allows an indefinite number. Zooming also defines the current data range of Time or Frequency Data. Also, clicking on the plot produces a display of the numerical values represented by the underlying data values.
ScopeDSP’s plots are specialized to the needs of the DSP professional; compared to the graphs in spreadsheets, you will find they cut to the chase.
Printing and Print Preview
